Your Privacy

FlopTech Engineering respects your privacy and we are committed to protecting it. This statement describes the very few circumstances under which we will use information that you choose to provide to us.

Browser Cookies

A cookie is a small data file that certain websites can write to your computer's hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you have visited, but the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie cannot read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.

If you choose not to allow cookies to be created in your computer's cookie file, you can turn off the cookie feature of your browser. In the Safari browser for Mac OS X, you can disable the cookie feature in the Security pane of the Preferences panel.
FlopTech will only attempt to create a cookie on your hard drive when you download one of our products. We only use these cookies to indicate that the users of our products have read and agreed to our End User License Agreements for those products. If you have disabled your browser's cookie feature, our cookie will not be placed in your browser's cookie file.

Twitter Login and Password

Twitter requires you to authorize Poker Tweeter to use the Twitter service by entering your user name and password. This is handled by Twitter.com through a web-based interface. And as a result, Poker Tweeter never receives any of your actual Twitter account information and never saves it.

Instead, Poker Tweeter receives an OAuth token from Twitter and saves it on your device. This method is commonly used by apps (and web sites) that access Twitter, and it provides a very high level of security. No other app (or web site) can use this token to gain access to your account. Poker Tweeter retains this token as a convenience; you only need to enter your account information once.

Poker Tweeter uses this same OAuth token to gain access to TwitPic.com when you attach photos to your tweets. If you use the TwitPic service, you must upload your photos to TwitPic.com. Poker Tweeter uses your Twitter OAuth token to authorize those uploads.

E-mail Correspondence

Any and all e-mails sent to us will be held in the strictest confidence. FlopTech will never make public any e-mail we receive, in part or in whole, unless we receive permission from its author.

Purchase and Registration Information

The Purchase and registration process for FlopTech products that are not sold through the Apple App Store is handled by eSellerate, an industry-leading e-commerce provider. FlopTech receives customer data from eSellerate in the form of contact information and serial number(s) of FlopTech products that each customer has purchased. FlopTech will never, under any circumstances, make any customer information available to any individual or entity outside of FlopTech Engineering. To view eSellerate's web site and privacy policy, visit www.esellerate.net.
