Q: FlopZoom Lite is having problems on startup. What should I do?

A: Sorry about that. Please make sure you are running the latest version. It's right here.
The first time you run a new version of FlopZoom Lite, it may prompt you to allow a rebuild of its database. If it does, please click "Rebuild" and let the rebuild run.

If FlopZoom Lite doesn't prompt you for a rebuild, you should do a manual rebuild. Choose FlopZoom Lite > Preferences... to bring up the preferences window. Click the "Commands" button to show the commands pane, then click the "Rebuild Database" button to start the rebuild process. Then please do the following:

1. If it hangs or crashes, force-quit it (control-click its dock icon and choose force quit) then re-launch FlopZoom Lite.
It will skip over any files that caused it problems on any previous launch.

2. Once FlopZoom Lite is running, open Preferences, click the Commands tab, and click the Export Skipped Files button.
This will create a folder called "FlopZoom Lite Skipped" on your desktop. Please review the hand history files in this folder
and email them to .

We would greatly appreciate your help. Please help us make FlopZoom Lite a great solution for Mac poker players.

Q: Why can't I find any of the sessions I have played?

A: If you've played on FullTilt or PokerStars but FlopZoom Lite can't find any of your own hand history files, please take these steps:

1. Make sure you've requested history files from one or both of these sites.
We recommend using the default folder suggested by the site's software.
Also, be sure you've specified English: FlopZoom Lite only supports English at this time.

2. Make sure that the sessions you've played are Texas Hold'em only.
FlopZoom Lite only supports the Texas Hold'em variation of poker at this time.

3. If your hand history files are not in the default FullTilt or PokerStars folder:
Please choose File > Add New Hand History Folder... from FlopZoom Lite's menu, then
navigate to the folder that contains your hand history files.

Q: What about Omaha? Razz? Stud?

A: We hope to eventually support more games than just Texas Hold'em in the future.
The first non-Hold'em game would be Omaha, but at the moment we can't give you
a time frame for additional game support.

Q: Can FlopZoom Lite import sessions from my Mac's Windows partition?

A: Yes. If you are dual-booting with Boot Camp or if you are running virtualization software, FlopZoom Lite can analyze
hand history files that are stored on the XP or Vista partition. This includes sessions that you played using the Windows FullTilt program.

Choose "Add New Hand History Folder..." from the File menu and navigate to the Windows volume. Then choose the folder containing the hand history files. FlopZoom Lite will remember the new folder and look in it (and in all previously chosen folders) for new history files each time it is launched.

Q: Can I import sessions from other players and computers?

A: Yes. You can copy FullTilt and PokerStars hand history files from other Macs or Windows machines to your Mac, and
FlopZoom Lite can analyze those files. Just put the FullTilt file in their own folder inside the home > Documents > HandHistory folder. Put PokerStars files in their own folder inside the home > Library > Application Support > PokerStars > HandHistory folder. FlopZoom Lite will find all these files the next time it is launched.

In fact, it's easy to send a session to another FlopZoom Lite user. Choose File > Export Current Session and FlopZoom Lite will save the hand history file of the current session to a folder on your desktop. You can then use the email program of your choice to send that hand history file to another FlopZoom Lite user. They can then add that session to their FlopZoom Lite database.
