FlopZoom Tutorials: Basic
The Current Hand
The playback pane and session pane share the concept of the "current hand." The hand you're playing in the playback pane will be highlighted in the session pane's stack and pot graphs.
The Current Playback Hand
Click on one of the lines in the list and FlopZoom shows you that hand in the display. (It's hand 43 in our example.) Now you can click through the actions and streets on the hand to see how that player busted out.
Here we see how fzbadgirl_d was eliminated in 4th place on hand 43. She was short-stacked and decided to get it all in with two broadway cards. She would have been in the big blind in three more hands. Another player called with a medium pair, fzbadgirl_d flopped a flush draw to give her more outs, but she bricked out on the turn and river.
The Current Session Hand
Now if we click back to the session pane, we see that hand 43 has been highlighted in the stacks and pots graphs. Hand 43 is the current hand in the session pane, and if we select fzbadgirl_d, we see her stack go to zero on the hand.
Summary
The playback and session panes show you the same hand, the "current hand." Selecting a hand in either pane automatically selects it in both. Clicking to the playback pane lets you quickly search for specific situations and events and see exactly what happened on each street. Clicking on the session pane lets you instantly see key hands with the chip stack and pot size graphs.
