Late Registration
A few dozen players registered on day 2, including Kathy Liebert and Doyle Brunson. And since day 2 registrants got full 60K starting stacks, the only disadvantage was that the average stack was slightly higher than on day 1. Late registrants brought the total player count up to 329, which is only 33% down from last year.



And several players were sporting far less hair than they had yesterday. They had their heads shaven in support of Thuy Doan, a young pro who is fighting cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. I hope it cheered up Ms. Doan to see that so many of her fellow pro players support her and are wishing her a quick recovery.
